The Story
Bodhi Hart-Briar just wanted to distract himself from a broken heart when a cursed folklore legend hurdled it’s way into his life. After a split second decision results in the destruction of the sacred hot pool, Bodhi must embark on an adventure through the wonderfully horrible forest to restore what was lost.

Inspired by the newspaper
My favorite part of newspapers are the comics! The quick illustrations are able to convey so much personality of the characters in a small amount of space. They’re FUN. Growing up should not mean that books don’t have illustrations anymore. That’s why I sneak comics into every chapter!

In edition to the story and the comics, you will receive a unique 5” x 7” bigfoot full color print related to the month’s chapter.
Made by a human
I do not use AI to brainstorm, write, illustrate, or animate the story. My friends help me edit, and check my grammar. I personally get frustrated when people send me emails clearly written by AI, so I have made the conscious choice to not use AI at all in this project. The process does take longer, and I’m sure it will include very human mistakes. But, it’s important to me to create the story and universe myself, even if it is imperfect <3
