A woman with short dark hair and a denim outfit sitting on a red chair, smiling and resting her face on her hand, in a room with a teal wall and exposed brick near a window.

About the artist

Mya got her artistic start making mudpies in her backyard in the north woods of Minnesota. Taught by the school of Youtube, and much trial and error, she has been painting for ten years, and selling art for 3 years. While mindful bigfoot is her passion project, she can also be found painting at weddings, peddling wares at air fairs, and stressing out about how to market her products. When she is not painting, she enjoys hiking, thinking deeply about mundane things, and writing a novel that she will finish one of these days gosh-darnit.
